Participating clubs may enter runners prior to the season and in accordance with the updated Rules on the website also included in the Team Managers’ Guide, and will issue a number to their runners.
Runners may not enter as individuals.
Guest runners may be permitted, but again only in accordance with the updated Rules as well as included in the Team Managers’ Guide.

Public Open Space Notice:
Please note that this venue, Lawns Park in Swindon, is a public open space. All attendees of this fixture are advised not to leave unattended any personal belongings of value.

Attention All Athletes: As per the League Rules:
(See Rule 31): Any runners wearing headphones will be disqualified from the race.
(See Rule 4 (Race Numbers)): Any runner seen wearing a race number for another event in an OXL race will automatically be disqualified from the race.

Usual Restrictions Apply:
To mitigate against the potential loss of the future use of the Lawns Park venue the same precautionary measures will be in force as as is now standard for all OXL fixtures. Urinating anywhere in public at the venue will not be tolerated. Anyone seen urinating in public will be identified and their club informed. The individual identified will be disqualified from the race and banned from the League. Sufficient toilet facilities will be provided. Please use them.

Car Parking
Restricted car parking is available at the Lawn Manor Academy (formerly Churchfields) for the use of officials, volunteers and those transporting club tents only. All other attendees of the fixture are directed to park at the New College Car Park.

New College (Main) Car Parking Directions
Northbound traffic: Exit the M4 at Junction 15 and follow the signs for Swindon north on the A419. Take the first exit from the A419 northbound. Then take the 1st exit from the roundabout to follow the A4259 (Marlborough Road) towards the Old Town. At the Coate Water Roundabout (adjacent to the Sun Inn) take the exit on the A4259 (now Queens Drive). Follow Queens Drive to the main parking facility at New College on right hand side (New College Drive).
Southbound traffic: Follow the A419 south and take the last exit before reaching the junction with the M4. Take the 4th exit from the roundabout to follow the A4259 (Marlborough Road) towards the Old Town. Cross the Coate Water roundabout (adjacent to the Sun Inn) continuing on the A4259 (now Queens Drive). Follow Queens Drive to the main parking facility at New College on right hand side (New College Drive).

Lawn Manor Academy (Restricted) Car Parking Directions
Northbound traffic: Exit the M4 at Junction 15 and follow the signs for Swindon north on the A419. Take the first exit from the A419 northbound. Then take the 1st exit from the roundabout to follow the A4259 (Marlborough Road) towards the Old Town - then follow Directions continued below.
Southbound traffic: Follow the A419 south and take the last exit before reaching the junction with the M4. Take the 4th exit from the roundabout to follow the A4259 (Marlborough Road) towards the Old Town - then follow Directions continued below.
Directions continued: At Coate Water Roundabout (after passing the Sun Inn) take the second exit signposted B4006 to the Old Town (Marlborough Road). Continue to follow the signs to the Old Town crossing two mini-roundabouts. At Pipers Roundabout take the third exit (B4289) continuing to follow the signs to the Old Town Centre. At the Market Square Roundabout in the Old Town get in outside lane continue straight across the mini-roundabout (HSBC Bank the right). Continue on the B4289 as the road bears right following signs to the Town Centre down the steep hill to the first mini roundabout. At the mini-roundabout turn right (Upham Road). Just before the road starts to bear left turn right (Brixham Avenue. Continue along Brixham Avenue until The Lawns parkland is visible. At the T-junction turn left along Falmouth Grove to the entrance to Lawn Manor Academy.

Walking Directions from New College Car Park
Exit the New College Car Park and cross the A4259 using the pedestrian crossings. Walk back along Queens Drive (west side) in the direction arrived by vehicle. At the first junction with a tarmaced footpath turn right. Follow the path past the houses on the left to the junction with another path by the trees ahead. The location for the club tents will be visible on the right.

Walking Directions from Lawn Manor Academy Car Park
Walk back to the Lawn Manor Academy entrance towards the junction of Falmouth Grove with Brixham Avenue. The course and club tents will be visible from the Lawn Manor Academy entrance.

Parking Fees
The standard car parking fee for all 2019–20 OXL fixtures is £4.00 per vehicle to cover the costs of running the fixture, as agreed at the 2017 OXL AGM.

Age Groups for 2019–20 season
These are all according to age at midnight on the age date (31 August 2019), except for U9s – see below.
U9 are age 8 on the age date or, if age 7 on the age date, must be age 8 on the day of the event;
U11 are age 9 or 10 on the age date;
U13 are age 11 or 12 on the age date;
U15 are age 13 or 14 on the age date;
U17 are age 15 or 16 on the age date;
U20 are age 17, 18 or 19 on the age date;
Senior Women are age 20 to 34 on the age date;
Vet Women V1 are age 35 to 44; V2 are age 45 to 54; V3 are 55 to 64; V4 are 65 or over on the age date;
Senior Men are age 20 to 39 on the age date;
Vet Men V1 are age 40 to 49; V2 are age 50 to 59; V3 are age 60 to 69; V4 are 70 or over on the age date.
