Restrictions Apply:

The races are being held in a public park with the kind permission of West Oxfordshire District Council. Please treat all other venue users with courtesy and respect to allow the League to be able to host fixtures at this venue again in the future. Once again, this is a public space, consequently urinating anywhere in public at the venue will not be tolerated. Anyone seen urinating in public will be identified and their club informed. The individual identified will be disqualified from the race and banned from the League. Sufficient toilet facilities will be provided in addition to the paid toilet facilities in the south west corner of the park. These will be located to north of the Start/Finish Area. Please use them.

Spikes must NOT be worn in any of the toilets. Studs are the recommendation for this venue in any case.
Dogs are permitted at this venue, but owners are asked to keep on their dog(s) on the lead and clear up any mess.

Litter Notice:

• Please do not create and leave behind any litter in the designated parking facility. Rubbish sacks will be provided near the exit for the parking facility.

Important Parking Notes:

The car parking facility has been agreed with the kind permission of the owner of the West Oxfordshire Business Park. The parking facility is limited and therefore lift-sharing is required to help ease the pressure on the parking spaces available. All vehicles are required to follow the signs and marshal instructions to park in the designated parking area and, if full, to find parking where possible with consideration for the residents of Carterton, but not within the red zone indicated on the Venue Map contained in the 2017 Carterton XC Venue & Course Maps document link below the race timetable below.
It is advisable that sufficient time is allowed for parking and walking to the venue. For the adults an extra hour may be required in order to ensure arrival at the venue in plenty of time.
It is requested that young athletes, parents and supporters thereof return to their cars as soon as possible to help relieve the pressure on the parking.
Owing to the public nature of both the venue and the parking facilities the decision has been taken not to collect the £4 per vehicle parking fee to cover the costs of running the event on the day. The parking fees will be collected from clubs following the fixture based upon their number of athletes in attendance at the fixture.
Very limited parking space (16 spaces only) is available for race officials and course setup marshals (only) at the nearest postcode for the venue.

DO NOT PARK:

• Anywhere on Kilkenny Lane. That lane provides the only entry and exit to the park for the medical support providers and other suppliers for the race.
• Anywhere in the red zone marked on the Venue Map. This zone is already highly congested with residents’ vehicles. Any additional parked vehicles in that zone will cause huge problems both with the residents and West Oxfordshire District Council, that could result in the loss of the venue for future fixtures.
